Jobie F. Dreyer, 81, of Latonia, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her residence. She was a homemaker, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and their prayer group Daughters of the King and the American Legion Auxiliary Latonia Unit 203. Jobie was preceded in death by her loving husband: Charlie Dreyer; parents: Thomas and Juanita Ward, Sr. and siblings: Tom (Judy) Ward, Linda (Ollie) McEntyre and Mike Ward. She is survived by her daughters: Kim (Ken) Dew and Melissa Hille; son: Brett (Amy) Dreyer; grandchildren Brett, Brad, Lindsey, Courtney and Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Hailey, Ryan, Josh, Eric, Sam, Avarie, Charlie and Parker as well as several nieces and nephews including Todd (Sue) McEntyre and their son Layne. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia) KY 41015 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. My Dear Kids,
Yes, you will always be my Kentucky Kids and my heart aches for all of you over the passing of your Beloved Mom and loyal friend. Jobie was a “Little Mom” to everyone, always the first in line to extend a helping hand coupled with the giving of her big, beautiful, loving heart — Jo always gave of herself. The giving of oneself is something that money can’t buy and that was Jobie. She followed the lessons handed down by her Creator and HE was foremost in her life along with her trust in Him.
On March 2, I received a birthday card from Jo; it was postmarked February 28. Even in her last days, she thought about me & took the time to mail me a birthday card. She never forgot any of us, that was Jobie. I frequently received cards from Jobie and it was no secret that Jobie kept the Post Office and Dollar Tree in business.
In every single card, Charlie was always mentioned
No question about it that Charlie was the love of her life. She missed him terribly and longed to be with him so as sad as we are, we need to believe that Jobie is smiling and holding hands with her love Charlie and that God granted Jobie her wish.

Aunt Jo, I will miss you so much. You were like a second mother to me. Words simply can't justify the impact that you have had on my life. As heartbroken as I am right now, I find comfort in all of the fond memories and knowing that you are now with the beloved others who have passed previously. I love you! Rest in peace, which you so much very deserve.
