My family extends our condolences. What stands out to me most about Aunt Wilma is that she was one of the most honest and true people I have ever known - true to herself, true to her family, true to her friends, true to her faith. She approached life with an incredible sense of humor, adventure, and good cheer, even in the face of life's challenges. I remember many happy family Thanksgiving dinners and get-togethers with her and Uncle Elmer, and will always cherish those memories.

I met Wilma almost fifty years ago when I came to Newport for a teaching job with her daughter June. I quickly became part of the family. Wilma called me her other daughter and she was my “Kentucky mother.” She will be missed. My prayers go out to her whole family. May God bless you all with his love, peace and comfort during this difficult time. Love, Kathy

I’m so sorry for your loss. Wilma was a very special lady. I had the opportunity to visit with her several times as a deacon at CSPC. I’m praying for all of you that you will be able to find peace and comfort in your memories. God bless.
