I’ve gotten to know the wonderful Barnes family over the last decade through my dearest friend Taylor. I absolutely loved hearing Taylor tell stories about her dad. His love of cooking, the trip he took to Italy, and his ability to quote National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, among many, many other memories. I have had the pleasure of spending time, though limited, with Taylor’s parents over the years and I quickly began looking to them as a guide for a love that can last a lifetime. Their relationship gave me hope that lifelong love is still possible. Craig always seemed like the coolest dad around, and he will be sorely missed by anyone who ever met him.
