Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Smith, 65, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish and a 1978 graduate of Holy Cross High School in Covington (Latonia), KY. Kenny retired from Duke Energy after many years of service and was a member of Covington Turners for 46 years. He was owner/operator of Goodtimers II in Latonia, KY. Kenny loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Kay Smith. Kenny is survived by his loving former wife: Sandy Von Hoene Smith; sons: Justin (Jill) Smith, Andrew (Lindsey) Smith and Eric (Hannah) Smith; siblings: Cindy (late: Danny) Haubner, Kevin (Kim) Smith and Candy Randall; 6 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the Eulogy Service at 11:45 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A reception will take place at Goodtimers II immediately following the Mass. Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY.
