Raymond "Ray" Henry Kentrup, 90, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026. He was a 1952 graduate of Covington Latin School and a member of Holy Cross Parish in Covington (Latonia), KY. Ray retired as a customer service manager with the United States Postal Service in Covington, KY, after 35 years of service. He was also Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Ray and his late wife, Clare A. Kentrup, were accomplished dancers. They were proudly married for 65 years before her passing on February 13, 2023. Ray was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Evelyn Kentrup; loving wife of 65 years: Clare A. Kentrup and sisters: Ceil (Glenn) Bezold and Judy (Bill) Neltner. He is survived by his sons: Jeff Kentrup, Terry (Cindy) Kentrup, Rob Kentrup and Gary (Jenni) Kentrup; siblings: Patricia (Eugene) Shelton, Edward (Debbie) Kentrup and Al (Sue) Kentrup; grandchildren: Derek Kentrup, Keifer Kentrup, Jacob Kentrup, Chris (Cassie) Kentrup, Nick (Genesis) Kentrup, Jessica Kentrup and Justin (Taylor) Kentrup; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
