I’m sorry to hear this. I taught at Holmes for 29 years, and Linda was one of my best friends during that time. She cared about the kids and tried to make Holmes a better place for everyone

I am saddened to hear of Linda’s passing. So many pleasant memories as UK Blanding Tower ‘neighbors’…praying for the peace for her family.

Linda was my college roommate our junior year and first semester of our senior year at UK. She was a sweet, wonderful person. Since I am from the middle part of Kentucky, she taught me a lot of Northern Ky slang and how to play Northern Ky’s favorite card game. I had not seen Linda for many, many years, but we kept in touch at Christmas and later through Facebook as well. Love and prayers for all of her family. I am sure you have lots of wonderful memories!!

Linda made a huge impact on the people she encountered every day at Holmes High School. I enjoyed working with her and the conversations we would have. She will not be forgotten.

I had the pleasure of working with Linda at Holmes High School. She was a wonderful person who truly cared about her students and fellow co-workers. She was a great friend. I remember that she loved to host Christmas parties at her house and decorated every room differently. Her nephews were so wonderful helping her every year to unpack, decorate and pack everything back up. She also loved to organize pot lunch lunches for the staff at Holmes. She will be truly missed.

So many fond memories of her as my 8th grade homeroom and history teacher! Field day when we beat the other classes, learning the states and capitols, writing my spelling words 20x each for talking. ❤️ She was an amazing teacher and role model and leaves behind beautiful memories for all of her students. Rest in Peace Miss Isenhour, you were one of the good ones!

I’ll never forget the frustration I had trying to deal with her states and capitals tests BUT because she did so, I know those like second nature. Holmes will definitely not be the same without her. Condolences to your family. 🤍
