Gerald "Jerry" Lee Johnson, 86, of Highland Heights, KY, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. Born in Dayton, KY, to Mark and Mary Irene Johnson. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, working in air traffic control. Jerry was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, KY. He retired as a truck driver after 40+ years of service, primarily with UPS. Jerry loved to golf and was an avid bowler. He was a loving father to his 8 children. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Mark and Mary Irene Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years: Polly Johnson; children: Kellye (Brant) Owens, Kerrye (Jim) Hurst, David "Dude" (Tressa) Johnson, Tony (Janet) Pemberton, Dave (Angie) Pemberton, Chris (Beverly) Pemberton, Kim (Rock) Meyer and Joe (Karla) Johnson; brother: Mike (Wilma) Johnson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Interment with an Honor Guard Service will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.
