Hobert "Hobie" Harold Allen, 59, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026. He was a member of Latonia Christian Church in Latonia, KY. Hobie was a 1985 graduate of Scott High School in Taylor Mill, KY. He was a parking lot attendant in downtown Cincinnati, OH, for 45 years. Hobie was a sports enthusiast and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He was also a Superman fanatic. Hobie was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Mary Allen and siblings: Carl Allen, Jr., Gloria Sue Allen and Tilford Eugene Allen. He is survived by his companion: Monica Sellers; mother of his children: Tonya; children: Christopher (Scott) Allen, Catherine Allen and Carolyn (Josh) Hamilton; sisters: Reva G. VanZijl and Nellie (Bill) Vitucci; grandson: William and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Latonia Christian Church, 3900 Decoursey Avenue, Latonia, KY 41015.
