Joyce Ann Davis, 88, of Elsmere, KY passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at her home. She was a 57 year member of Erlanger Church of Christ and she enjoyed keeping up with current events and following politics. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Donald D. Davis. Joyce is survived by her Daughters: Susan (Don) Willis and Diane (Ron) Davis-Cain; Son: Steve (Pam) Davis; Grandchildren: Ryan Davis, Kyle (Sharah) Davis, Kyrk (Hannah) Davis, Chris Willis and Bradley Willis; Brother: Jerome Liefert and Sister: Carol (Tom) Langston. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM (noon) at Erlanger Church of Christ, 458 Graves Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. Steve, Susan, and Diane,
I am very saddened to hear of your Mamma passing. Your parents were parents to us Whitson kids too, and we loved them very much. I love to think about the old times with you three.
Unfortunately, Heather and I will not be in town for the funeral. We have promised her parents to be in South Carolina with them on Friday, the 19th through Thanksgiving. Her sister and brother in law are coming from Switzerland to be there as well.
After missing your Dads’ funeral (I was on the road), this really hurts, and I hope you will forgive us, but Heathers’ folks are getting on in years and counting on us to be there. I hope we can get together later on after Thanksgiving to talk about your folks. I will stop by the shop as soon as I can.
