I remember Rita as a young girl of around 13 years old when she lived on 32nd St. between Latonia Ave. and Watson.
She was good friends with my sister Diane Kelley , and Pat Crow.
Rita was a sophomore at Holy Cross when I was in my Senior year.
She was a vivacious girl with a smile and a friendly greeting for everyone.
We moved away in 1962, and some years later when the Beatles had their song, “Lovely Rita”, I always thought of her.
My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
She will be missed by many.
