Shirley Mae Owens, 89, of Alexandria, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019. She retired from the Newport, KY Public School System. Shirley was preceded in death by her children: Shirley Jean Johnson, Sue Guy and Jerry Owens. She came from a family of 16 children, 12 have passed and the following 4 survive: Ed Clark, Bobby Clark, Melvin Clark and Loretta Fasse. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildred and 1 great-great-granddaughter. A Memorial Gathering will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015, on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until the Memorial Service at 3:00 P.M.
