My sister and I recently met Mary Lou when she helped us prepare for our mother’s funeral this past week. She was so kind and sweet! We just wanted to let you know how much she loved all of you! She showed us her photo album and had a big smile on her face remembering the fun trips to the beach, making breakfast with the grandchildren, the grandchildren running by her deck and waving to her before jumping in the pool. She also expressed how much of a blessing her children were: paying for her trip to the beach, taking pictures and making her photo albums, helping her take care of her house,and staying with her the entire time when she was hospitalized. She also showed us the picture she wanted for her funeral. She said she liked it so much because it was such a happy time. She wanted her family to remember her with a smile on her face waving good bye on her way to heaven. The last thing she showed us was her Christmas tree-she said she so enjoyed decorating it for the different seasons with her family. What great memories to hold in your heart of your mother.
