John B. Gillen M.D.

Hello Everyone,
I knew Ruth from my days as an ER physician at St. George in the ’70s. I was a rsident at University Hosp and “moonlighted” there. Ruth and Bill later became patients in my ophthalmology practice, in Madeira.
I always remember Ruth as a very pleasant and affirming lady. As ER receptionist, she was positive and comforting to patients and had a great sense of humor. I confided in her and respected her judgement. As a patient and friend we had great conversations and laughed a lot.
Take comfort in knowing Ruth was elegant, respected, and one to be emulated.
I am very saddened. I will pray and extend my sympathy to all of Ruth’s Family.
