Katie was a light to me as well. She was so “kind” and full of energy and helpful to everyone. She was inclusive and motivated. And did things the “right way” when ever I talked to her. May god rest her soul. Incredibly saddened. God bless the family and loved one! A light that shines will never stop. I met Katie Meyer when she worked in Covington. She was younger than me – I believe instantly excited about everything. I loved her immediately, she was infectious and ready to go. She instantly stood up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves and was fearless about it. Nothing was impossible. We were working on a wireless project at the time in smart city. She was innovative so right in the action. Tip of spear. She started working with Dan Mazza and Cincinanti bell with a project to help people in Covington in a digital inequality enablement solution. Uplifting the “have nots” in a way that helped the “haves” as well. A truly “everyone benefits solution”. One of the first in the country of its kind. Perfect for her as she was tech, Gov and understanding of process and driven to push through. She also had heart. Then she went on to to more of that in more places. I have talked to her a fews times to give her #hope and #love recently. I wish more. Absolutely beautiful human inside and out.
