Wayne Tucker

My sincere condolences to Dave’s family and friends.
The first time I saw Dave, he was the stellar guard for the Holy Cross Indians. I was impressed with his entire game, and he was a coach on the floor even in high school. I met him later through his brother-in-law, Steve Fritsch, and immediately liked him. He was always in an up mood, always funny and easy-going. Through the years, we ran into each other frequently, and he never changed, except for the better. We always talked basketball and other sports, but during the past couple of years, he talked more about his grandkids, a proud granddaddy. “Every day was Saturday,” and Dave lived life to the fullest. We all lost a friend, a man who knew how to live and treat people well. I’ll never forget “Hick.”
