My heart goes out to the entire family for your loss. Alan was such a special person. I never realized how special until he and Laura showed up at my sister, Carol's, visitation back in June unexpectedly. Carol formed a special bond with Alan for they both had cancer and they both tried to beat it in their own ways in offering words of courage to each other through facebook messenger. Carol talked about Alan often and their conversations. Alan and I were never really close but through this small act of kindness given to Carol in her hour of need brought us closer together. Alan, you will be missed and I hope God provides the strength to your family during this very difficult time. Godspeed!

Laura and Bobby, my deepest condolences on the loss of such a special person in your lives. His smile lights up a room and I know his passion for life will carry on within you both. Lean on each other during this very difficult time and know he is no longer suffering. I'm sure Danny welcomed him with open arms and that contagious smile that he had as well. May your faith get you thru this.
