Alfred Dallas Creech, Jr., 66, of Dayton, KY, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. Dallas was a member of the American Legion Post #64 in Okeechobee, FL and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid outdoorsman, a memeber of B.A.S.S. and several other Outdoorsman Clubs. Dallas is survived by his daughter: Angela Gayle Everett; sons: Mike Carrier and Bobby (Yvette) Ramler; sisters: Darlene Wehrle, Jean Hively and Tami Vance; brothers: John Creech, David Creech and Tim Creech; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment and Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to cancer.org. In the short time you were here on this earth, you touched many peoples lives. You changed mine in ways you couldn’t possibly imagine. I will cherish everything you ever taught me and hold it dearly to my heart. I will pass on the morals, the ethics and the will to have the courage and strength to push forward in life no matter what comes at you. You taught me to be the man that I am without me knowing and in turn teaching your grandsons as well. Your legacy will live on. Although I was not your blood, you still took on the role of being my Dad. I’m proud to be your son. I will never forget the wise words you spoke at times and the eloquent way you spoke when times called for it. Your softer side was seldom seen, but i’m honored to have seen it all the same. I know I was not the model son, but our relationship flourished never the less. You’ll always be in my heart, my mind and my soul. This is not a goodbye. It’s merely a pause. Until we see each other again and pick up where we left off. I’ll take care of her as you requested. You needn’t worry about that, but I know you will anyway. Until we meet again! Your devoted son.

It is with great sorrow that the family of Alfred Dallas Creech, Jr. (DALLAS) mourns his passing, on November 20, 2017

His family and friends will forever remember him for his love of God, Country, family and fishing.
Dallas had relocated recently to Northern Kentucky from Okeechobee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances, and followed in death by his father, Alfred Sr. on November 23, 2017.
He leaves to honor his memory, his children of 35 years, Angela Gayle Everett (Chris), Michael Thomas Carrier (Theresa), John Robert Ramler (Yvette) and his former wife of 34 years and friend Sandra L. Creech. He leaves family , sisters Darlene Wehrle, Jean Hively and Tami Vance (Terry) and brothers, John Creech, David Creech, and brother Tim Creech (Teri). He leaves Granddaughter Abby, great granddaughter Alaina and greatgrandson Aaron Michael. Grandsons, Michael Walter, Robert Mitchell, Dustin Patrick, Dylan Shane and Daniel Zachari. In addition he leaves a host of loving Nieces and Nephews.
Among his most important priorities in life, were his family, the American Legion Post 64, Okeechobee, FL and sports. He had been an avid bowler and took great pleasure in fishing Lake Okeechobee. His loves were his daughter Angel and granddaughter Abby, his sons Bobby and Mike and their mates Yvette and Theresa. He cherished his grandsons and was devoted to family. He was proud to have served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam and was honored to be a life member of the American Legion Post 64 here in Okeechobee, where he served as Adjutant for many years.
We will be forever blessed to have Dallas in our lives. Prayers for the entire family to have the strength to get thru this time of sorrow together as he would have wanted it.
To my oldest brother Dallas, I’m glad you came over Saturday to see Dad at our house. The picture was a beautiful picture. Your loneliness is gone. You are now up in Heaven with Mom and Dad. Enjoy your missed times together. Love ya, The Baby!
Im gonna miss you, you where a great uncle and taught me alot in the little time I’ve gotten to know you. I hooe god has zebra cakes and red pop for you in heaven.
