Alma J. McGraw, 79, of Covington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Taylor Mill, KY and was a KY Colonel. Alma worked as the Airport Manager with Avis Car Rental. She retired in 1994 with over 25 years of service. Alma loved family gatherings at her home, spending time around the pool and with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her winters in Fort Myer, FL with her husband of 59 years, Jim. Alma was preceded in death by her parents: Edmund and Dorothy Harmeling; sisters: Jessie Martin, Rita Taylor and Edna Mueller; brothers: Jimmy Harmeling and George Riess and great-grandchildren: Riley Gastright and Maurice Summers. She is survived by her beloved husband: Jim McGraw; daughter: Theresa (Michael) Gastright; sons: Tony (Kim) McGraw and Danny (Carol) McGraw; sister: Dorothy Malott; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Patrick Church, 3250 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
