Alvin "Keith" Harris, 79, of Covington, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. Keith was a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and fully supported his family in their Catholic faith. He spent most of his working years in the HVAC industry. In his later years, Keith worked as a security guard at Turfway Park. He was an all-around outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping and boating in his younger years. Keith was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, horse racing and playing cards. He loved going to Lake Cumberland with his family and made many friends in his time spent there. Keith was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Lula Harris and brother: Clarence "Buddy" (Carolyn) Harris. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 1/2 years: Donna Sims Harris; children: Shellie Roberto, Mike (Jody Harmeyer) Harris, Mary Harris and Rebecca (Matt) Chupka; siblings: Kenny (Donna) Harris, Betty (Leon) Breese, Shirley (late: Dwight) Bogenrief and Denny (Darlene) Harris; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 6:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
