Ann Collopy Egbers, 88, of Fort Wright, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church where she sang for many years in the choir. Ann was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and a former cafeteria worker at Beechwood Schools. She was a member of St. Charles Community where she enjoyed playing cards. Ann was also a member of the Friendly Aces social group and enjoyed watching movies with her movie club friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas E. Egbers; siblings: Sister Andrea Collopy, O.S.B., Mary Wright, Tom Collopy, Jim Collopy and Ed Collopy and grandson: Grant Egbers. Ann is survived by her children: Tom (Deborah) Egbers and Mary Ann (TJ) Burns; sisters: Claire Herringer and Rita Thaman; grandchildren: Zack (Shae) Burns, Nick (Emma) Burns, Jeremy (Allie) Burns and Olivia Egbers and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 4:30 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. A gathering will immediately follow Mass in the church undercroft from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Interment will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to: The Point Arc, 104 West Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011 and/or Grant us Hope, 4010 Executive Park Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Anne was such a.delight to work with at Beechwood School. Some days we had so much fun and laughter we should have paid the school for letting us party there. Since moving to SC I have lost touch we all of the girls! STILL MISSING THEM ALL! GOD BLESS YOU ALL JANICE HALL

Tom and MaryAnn and family, Deepest Sympathy to all of you! I enjoyed your Mom’s company whenever we were together…. And she came in for lots of haircuts!!! What a wonderful group of friends they were at Beechwood Cafeteria. I know my Mom enjoyed hanging out with her as well as I did. So fortunate to have such beautiful women in our lives!
