Anna Hoskins

Though wngdieds are more fun, funerals are more meaningful. I have found that funerals give me an opportunity to do real ministry with people who are more open and vulnerable than any other time in their lives.

MaryTracy, call me if you would like help. Praise God for His fhseafulntis in glorifying His name through these past days. I know you will continue to receive His grace, strength and blessings because that is what our God does. He is awesome. I continue to uplift you and your family in prayer.

Anna you will be missed in this world for your wonderful way of making everyone fell they have done their best. I miss all those dance meetings, performances and meals after. May thomas and Matt never lose touch ,, I love you all. The besseys

We have been out of town this past week and was shocked and saddened to hear of Anna’s passing. We too have worked with her for many years. She was such a delight to be around. She and I shared many stories of our children modeling and dancing. She was so very proud of all of her children!

To the Family of Anna Hoskins: I met Anna in 1989 while working in CERI at the EPA. She was very kind to me after I had my daughter in 1990 and gave Courteney her first pair of “baby” Reeboks. She taught me how to use d-Base (which was a nightmare) and many other things during our years of working together. May God bless you during this time of bereavement and may you find joy in the memories of Anna and the times you shared together.

I knew Anna from EPA andI loved to hear her talk about her family, flowers and her dog. I’m sure she’s walking among blooming flowers now in heaven. Prayers and good thoughts to her family.

May God give you strength. I worked next door to Anna here at EPA for many years. My life was blessed to have known her. She was my friend and a beloved companion here who was an inspiration to all she met.

Anna was my partner in crime during my earlier years at EPA.
She mentored me, consoled me, mothered me, and kept me laughing all the time. The love of her family kept her positive and happy. Her passing has devastated us all.

Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. Anna was part of our “dance” family for a few years. We will always remember Anna for her smile, laugh, and dedication to her family.

Danny and Angelle:
I am so very sorry to hear about Anna’s death. I had only known her for two years, but she was a very important friend to me….. I really enjoyed being in her tennis circle and we had some good long phone conversations as well. I’m not fully accepting yet that she won’t be around for me as a friend, for years to come.

Love and prayers to you all, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known your family my whole life, and I’ll never forget the Glenn Ave days, seeing Anna walk out in her tennis gear, ready to go play, or seeing her up at Latonia Elementary playing tennis. She raised a beautiful family and she’ll live on through you all.

I was in the office behind Anna’s before she retired. If I close my eyes I can still hear her laughter….it was contagious and always made me smile. She was a sweet, kind person and friend. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

Danny and “kids”: Barb and I send our deepest condolences. Your wife/Mother was truly one-of-a-kind. Such courage is not often found in this life. She was a true friend (and of course, a great tennis partner). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Joe and I are so sorry for your loss. It is hard to swallow at this point…………….God has a reason for everything and that is what you have to hold on to. Prayers to you and your family.

We both worked with Anna at EPA and she had a beautiful spirit and quick wit that will always put a smile on our faces when remembering Anna. We are so sorry to hear of your Anna’s passing and hope that you will find comfort in remembering what a beautiful person you have had in your lives and we feel honored to have known her. Roger was recalling that his friend George Huffman told him that “she was one great tennis player”!

Will always remember Anna’s wonderful smile, and her great laugh (giggle). EPA was a better place for having Anna there.

You have raised an amazing family. The love and support that i see is something to make you proud. I have know your family my entire life and your house is still 2 doors down from my parents. It will b hard not seeing you when i visit my parents but can always remember what joy you brought to your family and the neighbor hood. We will miss you and never forget you.

I worked with Anna for a number of years at EPA and will always remember her as a kind, gracious, caring and giving person. She always had a positive upbeat about her illness and life in general. My prayers are with you. God knew she was getting tired and gently called her home to rest in heavenly peace.

As the Wellness Center director Anna and I shared many ups and downs spanning 17 years. I provided suport and encouragement through her recovery with her diagnosis many years ago, not because it was my job but beause I admired Anna’s courage. I was passionate about the well being of all our members, thats why I was there! Who would have that that many years later Anna would contact me out of the blue, when she found out about my own diagnosis reminding me I wouldn’t let her back down from that challenge and she certainly expected no less from me!
Anna’s spirit will be missed by all. Her love of her family was always apparent, and I enjoyed hearing all of her stories. Keep her wonderful memories always in your hearts.

I am very sad to hear of your loss. I knew Anna from the good ole “Cal Lawrence” days at the EPA. She was always a hard worker but always smiling. I also remember when she first got sick. It was frightful for her–especially when she woke up in the middle of the night. I told her to pick up that Rosary and pray! November, month for remembering the poor souls in Purgatory, is a time for us to especially pray hard for Anna, but let us always keep praying for her throughout our own lives. As our Catholic faith tell us, she can intercede and help us now! We will never forget you, Anna.

Anna always brightened up a room! She attended my group fitness classes and gave 110% everytime. She has battled a lot in her life and always came out smiling! Even when she didn’t feel 100% she would still try to get in a game of tennis or do some workout. She was an absolute dear and will be missed very very much! Never forgotten!!

Anna and I interacted only a handful of times at EPA, but before I ever met her, I had a positive image in my mind from the wonderful words from our co-workers. When I first met her, I wasn’t disappointed. We only talked briefly, but the word “family” sticks in my mind. Remarkable how relatively short encounters can leave such an indelible mark. Thank you, Anna.

I didn’t work directly with Anna, but, would often see her in the halls at EPA, and her spirit said so much. She carried the joy of life with her and it shone through in her smile. May your family be comforted in knowing that she was a blessing to many and her presence at EPA is well remembered. God bless

So sorry to hear the news of Anna’s passing. She was always a joy when I would see her at EPA and so proud of her children. Be comforted that she is at peace and there are so very many people sending loving thoughts your way.

I was so saddened to hear of Anna’s passing, but am happy she is no longer suffering. I worked with her for many years at EPA, and she was ALWAYS a joy to be around and helpful to everyone. Her smile and laugh made the world a brighter place. I pray for strength and comfort for the family. May you have many wonderful memories of beautiful times spent together.
