Leave a message of condolence

Archie J. Williams Jr of Cold Spring, Kentucky, beloved son of Archie and Ava Williams and beloved husband to Dolores Williams left this world to be with the Lord on December 4th, 2020. Archie graduated from Holmes High School and honorably served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Air Force. Archie's professional career spanned forty-plus years as a car salesman where he developed a lifetime of customers, colleagues and dear friends. Archie was a loving father to Janie Franks and Danny (Rosemary) Williams, step-father to Mark Bennison, Diane (Scott) Reincke and Glenn Bennison, grandfather to thirteen grandchildren and great grandfather to ten great grandchildren. Archie was a devout Christian and served as an Elder at Latonia Christian Church. Following his retirement, Archie worked as an usher for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals organizations where he greeted patrons (rain or shine) for fifteen years. Archie's life was a testimony to faith, family and community - all of which he loved without limit. He will be remembered for his boisterous laugh, his endearing smile and his commitment to family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Latonia Christian Church at: https://www.facebook.com/LatoniaChristianChurch. The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hands of God until we meet again. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made on Facebook or at www.connleybrothersfuneralhome.com.

It has been our privilege to know Archie. He was my first mentor walking me through the the ins and outs of the Reds and Bengals organization. He always greeted, with a smile and was very popular with all his coworkers. We will miss him understandably but our memories of him will always warm our hearts.

I worked with Charlie as a fellow usher for the Cincinnati Reds I remember Archie as always having a smile on his face and always very kind hearted and always asking how I was doing. He will be sorely missed and I will keep him and his family in my prayers.
