Barbara Ann Wessler Wiedeman, 87, of Villa Hills, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She was an accomplished and published writer who enjoyed poetry. Barbara also enjoyed old movies, sewing and arts and crafts. She was a former Real Estate Agent, administrative assistant, actress and a member of the Theatre Guild, (where she met her husband, Dick). Barbara's greatest joy in life were her children and family. Her spirit will always be with them and she loved sharing her life with each and every one of them. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard "Dick" George Wiedeman, Sr.; sons: David Edward Wiedeman and Stephen Andrew Wiedeman; and son-in-law: John Hasenstab. She is survived by her children: Dick Wiedeman, Jr., Deacon Joe Wiedeman, Geralyn Wiedeman, Tom Wiedeman, Betsy (Peter) Djordjevic, Phil Wiedeman, Mike (Vickie) Wiedeman, Matt (Jill) Wiedeman, Janet (Jeff) Nicholas and Jimm Wiedeman; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Parish, 825 Washington Avenue, Newport, KY 41071. Interment: St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross c/o www.redcross.org or Holy Cross High School, 3617 Church Street, Covington, KY 41015.
