Barbara Ellen Partin, 83, of Fort Mitchell, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She enjoyed babysitting for her family and friends. Barbara loved children and watching them grow up. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sherman Allen, Craig Allen, Linis Allen, Bernice Eubanks and Lela Barton and great-granddaughter: Lexi Leigh Hall. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 59 years: James Lonnie Partin; children: Cynthia (James) Hall-Mayes and Donald Hall, Sr.; siblings: Billy Allen and Zora Greenwell; grandchildren: Kristin Hall and Donald (Amanda) Hall, Jr. and great-grandchildren: Bryce Dunbar Hall and Stephanie Ann Hall. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family. Hi! My name is Meghan. My brother Brendan and I were two kids that Barb babysat until we went to first grade. Barb was extremely kind and influential in my growing up. I have such fine memories of her and Jim’s house. Her giving me cookies while Jim watched M*A*S*H. I remember her picking me up from kindergarten and taking me to the dollar store where I could get a toy. I remember going up with them too Gatlinburg and staying in the trailer and I’m taking me to the Dixie stampede which still remains one of my favorite places. All these memories to say she was unbelievably unbelievably kind. To me it felt like she loved me like I was one of her kids. I was able to see Barb about two years ago and to see the joy on her face when I pulled up after all those years. Her warmth made it feel like I never left. I am thankful to have been a part of her life even so small. I wish her family comfort and love in this terrible time.
