Barbara Kloentrup Hughes, 92, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was a retired sales associate with Dillards Department Store and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Barbara was a 1949 graduate of Holy Cross High School. She was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, going to Silverlake water aerobics classes and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: William "Bill" Hughes and brother: Jim Kloentrup. She is survived by her children: Billy Hughes, Terri (Joe) Jehn, Jeff (Cindy) Hughes, Dave (Lisa) Hughes and Scott (Dianna) Hughes; grandchildren: Josh, Jeremy, Rachel, Lauren, Matthew, Brett, Brian, Kevin and Blake and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at St. Patrick Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment: St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: Bluegrass Care Navigators, 51 Cavalier Blvd, Suite 200, Florence, KY 41042 and/or St. Patrick Church Ladies Altar Society, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
