Bernadette M. “Beannie” Callahan, 95, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish, a member of the St. Anthony Fun Club in Taylor Mill, KY, a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia #110, a Past President of the former St. Helen’s Society of Holy Cross Church and a member of the Holy Cross 50 Club. Beannie worked as a part time housekeeper for Msgr. Thomas B. Finn and as a Secretary for Msgr. Robert L. Vater and volunteered with Catholic Charities for over 25 years, where she received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Callahan on October 27, 2004. Beannie is survived by her daughters: Pat (Ed) Pelley and Cindy (Doug) Bramlage; son: Jim (Terry) Callahan; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and her extended family. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. To my sister and brother would helped me with making sure mom was not alone in her last days with our family. Mom left each one of us our love for each other and all of of our spouses and families. Love and hugs to all of us. Pat
