Bernard "Bernie" Michael Cook, 61, of Florence, KY passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was a member of 7 Hills Church in Florence, KY and he enjoyed working on cars and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert L. and Mary E. Bilz Cook and brother: Bill Cook. Bernie is survived by his son: Dustin Cook; sisters: Rose (Roger) Gerdes, Debbie Cook and Barbara Cook; brothers: Bob (Donna) Cook, Gary Cook, Tony Cook, David Cook and Dan Cook as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM (Noon) Memorial Service at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to Garden of Hope, 699 Edgecliff Street, Covington, Kentucky 41014. Bernie Cook What a man. A man with big hands, who loved to work with them. He always had a sparkle in his eyes, a grin on his face, a positive attitude, and kind words for everyone. We all loved him the best. He never would turn down someone in need of help or a favor. He danced at our wedding, helped us move and with countless good deeds over all these years, even helped our elderly relatives. People will think... "Was he a saint?" in our eyes...He is. And better yet. He was our friend.

Bernie,you were my mother's soulmate. Such a blessing to our family. You were a part of us since day 1. I don't know what we did to deserve you in our lives but I sure am thankful. I hope you are at peace with mom, no more pain,suffering. Just complete bliss and happiness. Live you forever Bern 😘
