Bernard "Buck" Bilz, 85, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. He retired from Teamsters Local 100 and was a member of the Teamsters Retirement Group.

Family was always the most important thing to Buck. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard and Viola Kappes Bilz and siblings: Mary (Bob) Cook and Margaret (Bob) Moeller. Buck is survived by his loving wife of 59 and a half years: Deanna Bilz; children: Laurie Bilz Dowell, Joe (Sue) Bilz, Becky (Tony) Motley and Chris Bilz; siblings: Elizabeth Bilz and Frances (Late: Elgie) Potter; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at the request of the family on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Walburg Monastery, 2500 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, KY 41017.
