Bettie Jo Porter, 88, formerly of Edgewood, KY passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where she was very active and served on several church boards. Bettie was a retired assistant bank manager with PNC Bank and had worked at various banks prior for a total of 33 years of service. She was active with the P.T.A. and band of Campbell County High School, a secretary with Hope Cottage and a member of the Kenton Heights Women's Club. Bettie was preceded in death by her first husband: Jim Abernathy in 1972 and second husband: Dale Porter in 2021 and brother: Max Honeycutt. She is survived by her daughter: Lynne Abernathy (Jeff) Drews; step-son: Brad (late: Laura) Porter; grandchildren: Chris Drews and Michael Porter and great-grandchild: Ava Drews. Bettie donated her body to the Cincinnati College of Medicine. A celebration of her life will take place at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2551 Dixie Hwy., Lakeside Park, KY 41017 on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:30 PM until the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
