Blanche Mae Reckers, age 85 of Covington, KY passed away on Mon., Dec. 12, 2011 at Bracken County Nursing & Rehabilitation in Augusta, KY. She was a Homemaker, but had also worked at US Shoe in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Covington, KY and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by a Brother: Albert Meyers in 2007. Blanche is survived by her Husband: Bill (High Pockets) Reckers of Covington, KY, Daughters: Diane (John) Schaefer of Latonia, KY, Cheryl (Randall) Johnson of Florence, KY and Rosemarie (George) Starr of Covington, KY, Son: Billy (Bonnie) Reckers of Brooksville, KY, Brother: Earl Meyers of Park Hills, KY, 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Thurs., Dec. 15, 2011 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 4 PM until 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Fri., Dec. 16, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Augustine Church. Interment in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Bonnie,Bill & family i am so sorry for your loss my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I would also like to thank you and and you family for taking care of Blanche for the last seven months. You all made sure that she had what she need it and you we always there for her when she need you to be there. Thank you for being there by her side when she left here on earth to be with her father.
