Bonnie E. Knepfle Cornett, age 65 of Latonia, KY passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, after retirement she was a seasonal Tax Clerk with the IRS in Covington, KY. Bonnie was a member of Holy Cross Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially their shopping trips. Bonnie also enjoyed her weekly luncheon with her friend Anita. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Douglas Cornett, Sr. on January 25, 2014. Bonnie is survived by her Daughters: Brenda Levan of Erlanger, KY and Tesla Cornett of Erlanger, KY; Son: Douglas Cornett, Jr. of Latonia, KY; Sister: Rebecca (Roy) Dove of Jacksonville, FL and 1 Grandson: Mark Alan Randall of Erlanger, KY. The Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 9:30 AM until Prayers at 11:30 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church in Latonia, KY at 12 NOON. Interment in Linden Grove Cemetery in Covington, KY. Memorials to: Tesla Cornett Catholic Education Fund, Payable to: Holy Cross Elementary School 3612 Church Street Latonia, KY 41015. Bonnie was a good friend and co-worker whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for many years. My prayers go out to her family. She will be missed dearly.
I am so sorry to hear of Bonnie’s death. She was a special person who showed a lot of strength & perseverance. She will be missed by many whose life she touched in various ways. Thoughts & prayers to the family during this most difficult time.
