Brenda Lou Steely, 61, of Florence, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was a retired Property Manager for Highland Park Enterprise and an avid gardner. Brenda was a dedicated wife and mother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Bethel Scrivner; brothers: Charles Scrivner and Marcus Lakes and sister: Kathy Briles. Brenda is survived by her beloved husband: Benjamin Chesley Steely; daughter Bridget Loraine Steely; sons: Benjamin Chesley Steely II and Donald Lee (Deven) Steely; sisters: Carrol (John) Morris, Shirley Asher, Judy (Jim) Moore, Lois Murphy, Diane Brinker, Debbie Scrivner and Paulyn Scrivner; grandchildren: Mallory, Miccah, Mallik, Christian, Makenzie, Joshua and Aryana and great-grandchildren: Karma and Kali. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. at Connley Brothers Funeral Home. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.
