Carole Ruth Oliver, 86, of Elsmere, KY passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption and a former sales associate with the JC Penney Company. Carole enjoyed shopping, reading, and browsing through cookbooks. She was also a volunteer with the Newport Friends of the Library. Carole is survived by her loving husband of 61 years: Richard M. Oliver; children: Beth Oliver, Dr. Richard G. (Michael Kelley) Oliver and Melissa G. (Randy) Manning; brother: Douglas (Jan) DeBuyser and grandchildren: Tyler Manning and Spencer Manning. Visitation will take place at St. Mary Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, 1140 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011 on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to Any Animal Rescue.
