Char Della Cornelius, 71, of Erlanger, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, and was a friend to everyone she knew. Char was born prematurely, right around 2 pounds but managed to be the strength and foundation for her family. She fought a tough, 3-year battle with cancer until the very end. Char was a member of Impact Life Ministries in Fort Thomas, KY and volunteered at the church cafe that was named after her, "Char Bucks". Char was preceded in death by her parents: Michael and Alice Farrell and siblings: Gayle Hussey and Joe Bauman. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years: Bobby H. Cornelius; daughters: Christle Hatton and Alison (Jason Hutto) Venegas; siblings: Mike (Linda) Farrell, Patty McGee, Jim (Cheryl) Farrell and Della (Kelly) Green; grandchildren: Patrick, Nolan, Riley, Serella, Gracie, Lexi and Jaymie and numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Char will be scheduled for a later date. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is serving the family. Char was one of the most generous, strong, faith filled woman that I had the pleasure to care for during her chemo visits. She was a very special patient. What a long hard battle she fought. Rest in peace sweet Char. Praying for you Bob and all of your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the privilege of meeting your mom, but if she was anything like Allison, she had to be a strong and amazing woman. Hold on tight to your precious memories, they will get you through the times ahead.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Char. She was a wonderful woman, funny and kind. In years past, Char was a friend of my sisters, and that is how we met. I have wonderful memories. My deepest condolences to Bob, Chrystle, Alison, the grandchildren, and all family members. Char will be deeply missed. Resting in peace. You will not be forgotten. Thank you for your friendship.
