Charles A. Norris, 82, of Covington, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019. He was the retired night manager at Walt's Center Lanes in Newport, KY and served from 1975-1993 as a member on the Taylor Mill Fire Department in Taylor Mill, KY. Charles enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Kelcie Green. Charles is survived by his loving wife: Babette Norris; daughter: Debbie (Kent) Vandergrift; son: Chuck (Mary Ann Mullins) Norris; step-sons: Chris Green, Kyle (Jena) Green and Kurtis (Kim) Green; grandchildren: Joe Cummins, Tiffany (Adam) Hay, Katie Cummins, Ashley (Zac) Cook, Xander, Siana, McKenzie and Kollin Green and great-grandchildren: Kennedy and Avery Hay. A memorial gathering will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015, on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 4:00 PM. Memorial donations are suggested to the Taylor Mill Firefighters Association, 5231 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 or any charity of the donor's choice.
