Charles (Chuck) Eldridge, age 66, of Latonia, KY passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He was a member of Latonia Christian Church and was retired from Kahn’s Food Service after 31 years. He served our country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Chuck is survived by his Wife: Victoria M. Eldridge of Latonia, KY; Son: Brett (Kristen) Eldridge of Amelia, OH; Daughter: Lana (Les) Thompson of Norwood, OH; Brother: James (Barb) Eldridge of Lakeland, FL; Sisters: Martha (Herb) Callahan of Georgetown, OH, Darlene (Lloyd) Behnken of Xenia, OH, Cora Thompson of Dayton, OH and Sheena (Paul) Smith of Kettering, OH; 6 Grandchildren: Zachary, Ryan, Amber, Kyle, Cody and Maya. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11 AM at the funeral home. An Honor Guard Service and Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY. In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial Donations be made to Latonia Christian Church 3900 Decoursey Avenue Latonia, KY 41015. Dear Mamaw, we are so sad Papaw has gone to sleep and we won’t get to be with him anymore. When we look up at the stars at night we will know Papaw is shining down on us telling us to be good boys for you, Daddy and Mommy! Vickie, Brett and all the family…we are so sorry to hear about Chuck. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Even though we haven’t seen you guys for a while we have lasting memories of years past. Keith especially has fond memories of growing up across the street from you guys. I know Chuck will be missed terribly but remember you have a heart filled with a lifetime of memories to get you through.

Dear Vicky and family: We all are so sad to hear that Chuck has passed away. I know that you took care of him for years and he will be missed. I talked to Cora and our cousin Jerry also today and the information has been passed on to my siblings. We can not tell you how much it meant that you & Chuck came to visit Dad during his illness and that you were both at his memorial. Our hearts go out to you and all of Chuck’s loved ones. We are so sorry about Chuck, he left us much too early although we did not see him often in the past few years, we have many memories of him and will miss him.

During the few years that we have meet our grandfather few times was a great time for our little ones , Although we didnt get to come around all the time because of school, the times we had went out to dinner with him and his wife was great . our grandfather was a very funny man and was very strong man . we will miss him very much but he is always looking down on our grandkids .
