Charles "Fess" Franklin Fessler, 91, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. He was a U.S. Navy diesel mechanic during the Korean Conflict and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Latonia, KY. Fess was a retired mail clerk with the U.S. Postal service. After retirement, he worked in the bicycle department at Johnny's Toys in Latonia, KY. Fess was preceded in death by his wife: Diane Cottengim Fessler and 7 siblings. He is survived by his sons: Timothy Lee (Cathy) Fessler and Timothy Allen Fessler; grandchildren: Mandy, Matthew and Ryan; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Interment will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I'M GOING TO MISS HIM. HE MADE THE STAFF AND MY SELF WHEN HE WOULD DO HIS IMITATION OF WOODY WOODPECKER. ALSO, WHEN HE ASKED MY NAME, HE WOULD SAY MY NAME IS CHARLES FRANKLIN FESSLER (MY NAME IS FRANK FESSLER). THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR DAD WITH "THE SUMMIT OF EDGEWOOD."
