Charles Michael "Mick" Welch, 74, of Covington, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of St. Benedict Church. Mick was a retired steel worker, an avid motorcyclist, a thoroughbred horse trainer and an all-around horse enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents: John & Elizabeth Welch. Mick is survived by several brothers and sisters. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment and an honor guard service will follow at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
