Charles R. Obel, 98, of Latonia, KY passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran and a retired Clerk with the L & N Railroad. Charles was a member of Runyan Memorial Christian Church in Latonia, KY and a member of N.A.R.V.E. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 76 years: Lillie M. Obel. Charles is survived by his daughters: Pat (Late:Bill) Haug, Sandy (Kenny) Peck and Marty (Bob) Meier; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment and a Honor Guard service will be at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Action Ministries, 4375 Boron Drive, Covington, KY 41015.
