Clare Ann Kentrup, 83, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. She was a retired merchandiser with Gibson Greeting Cards and a member of Holy Cross Parish. Clare enjoyed travelling and square dancing. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis, the Cursillo Movement, was active in the Pro-Life Movement, was a Lay Minister and active in the Worldwide Marriage Encounter. Clare was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Catherine Steinker and sisters: Phyllis Scanlon and Nancy Strotman. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years: Ray Kentrup; children: Jeff (Lisa) Kentrup, Terry (Cindy) Kentrup, Rob Kentrup and Gary (Jenni) Kentrup; brothers-in-law: Jack Scanlon and Jack Strotman: grandchildren: Chris, Nick, Derek, Keifer, Jacob, Jessica and Justin and great-grandchildren: Emma and Cecilia. Visitation will be at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Eulogy at 11:45 AM. followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon). Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY is serving the family. Memorials are suggested to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
