Colton Lee Reker, 22 days old, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. He is survived by his mother: Mattalyn McMullen; father: Stephen Reker, Jr.; identical twin brother: Bentlee Matthew Reker; maternal grandparents: Kim and Dave Dedden; maternal great-grandmother: Ida Nantz; paternal grandparents: Angela and Jordon Adams and paternal great-grandparents: Gloria Siry, Rosemary and Dick Humphrey and Darnay and Bill Adams. A visitation will take place on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until the funeral service at 7:00 P.M at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Condolences
Mattalyn, Stephen and the McMullen and Reker family and loved ones of precious little Colton have my deepest sympathy. No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of losing a child.
Isaiah 66:13a says: “As a mother comforts her son, so I (Jehovah Psalm 83:18) will keep comforting you.”
Revelations 21: 4; “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”
Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on Him and He will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18)
(2 Corinthians 4:18) “while we keep our eyes, not on the things seen, but on the things unseen. For the things seen are temporary, but the things unseen are everlasting.”
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE
1. When eyes of blind ones see again
And ears of deaf ones hear again,
When deserts blossom as the rose
And from parched ground fresh water flows,
When lame ones leap just like the hart,
When loved ones never have to part,
