Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Sandel, 69, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was a retired nanny and member of St. Benedict Parish. Cindy was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and a member of the Bunko Girls. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents: Milton and Christine Gillespie. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years: Richie Sandel; daughters: Kelli (Josh) McDowell and Rachel Sandel; brothers: Richard Gillespie and David (Tammy) Gillespie; grandchildren: Allie Sandel and Luke McDowell and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 12:00 PM (Noon). Memorials are suggested to: Cincinnati Children's Hospital Neurology, 3333 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
