Dale Bradford Porter, 86, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. He was a retired assistant manager after 44 years of service with The Kroger Company. Dale was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and active on numerous boards with the church. He was a Member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge #123 F.& A.M., a 32nd. Degree Scottish Rite member for 40 plus years and was on the Senior Golf League at the Kenton Golf Course. Dale was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Mildred Porter. He is survived by his loving wife: Bettie J. Porter; son: Brad (the late: Laura) Porter; step-daughter: Lynne Abernathy (Jeff) Drews; sister: Sheryl (Robert) Stegman; brother: Lynn (Charlene) Porter; grandsons: Chris Drews and Michael Porter; great-granddaughter: Ava Drews and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY 41017 at 12:00 PM (Noon) with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. I remember Dale from HS days. Dale went to Dixie and I went to Beechwood. I knew Dale through Sonny Shearer, who was also a football player for Dixie, and was my HS sweetheart. My condolences to Dale's family.
