Dale Wagenlander, 79, of Villa Hills, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from Wiedemann Brewery as a Route Supervisor. Dale was past president of the Newport Rotary Club and a member of Saints Boniface and James Church in Ludlow, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clayton and Gloria Wagenlander; brother: Jerry Wagenlander and sister: Donna Sanzenbacker. Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years: Sylvia Goetz Wagenlander; sister: Verna (Rick) Pulsfort; sister-in-law: Cathy Wagenlander; brothers: Roger (Bonnie) Wagenlander and Clayton (Rhonda) Wagenlander; brother-in-law: Ray Sanzenbacker and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, KY. Memorials are suggested to Honor Flight Tri-State, 8627 Calumet Way, Cincinnati, OH 45249 or Newport Central Catholic High School, 13 Carothers Road, Newport, KY 41071. Hey Sylvia, I just am finding this out and i wish i could have made the Mass today to send off my (cuz) DALE. Super guy and we all will miss him. Hope i can run into sometime to give you a big hug.

Please accept my DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON Dale’s passing. I knew Dale from the Beer Business years ago when he worked for Wiedemann. I just saw Tom ” Yatch’s ” Schurger the other day & was asking about Dale. So sorry to hear about his passing.
