David R. Landers, 85, passed away on July 15, 2021, at his home in Florence, KY. A U.S. Navy veteran, Dave was proud to have served on the aircraft carrier, the USS John Hancock. He worked as a passenger service agent for Delta Airlines for much of his career, both welcoming and wishing safe travels to those passing through the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, and where he also made many lifelong friends. After his retirement from Delta, Dave enjoyed working for the Kenton County Golf Course where he could talk - and play - golf to his heart's desire. Dave will be missed by his loving wife, Judy Prinz; sons Rodney (Kim) Landers and Kevin (Kim) Landers; daughter Sherry (Mike) Hang; grandson Brandon (Tia) Landers; and granddaughter Megan Landers. Dave is preceded in death by his brothers Danny and Mike Landers. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 10am to 12pm (noon) at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Funeral services will take place at 12pm (noon) at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will take place at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY.
