David "Dave" Wayne Lillard, 51, of Covington, KY, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was an arborist and skilled tree climber. Dave had a passion for anything outdoors, motorcycles and fixing engines. He was a big hearted and caring person always trying to help others. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lydia Lillard. He is survived by his daughters: Lindsey Lillard, Olivia Lillard, and Tori Hensley; father: Dennis Lillard; mother: Shirley Volphenhein; grandchildren: Mia Figueroa, Joaquin Godinez, and Indica Horne; siblings: Lisa (Mike) Freeman, and Chad Lillard and 6 step siblings; as well as many other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
