Deborah Jo Johnson, 71, of Covington, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was a retired tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service in Covington, KY and a member of St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church. Deborah was a master furniture refinisher, loved painting and was great at multi-tasking. She was preceded in death by her son: Steven Carl Marksberry. Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 50 years: Howard Johnson, Jr.; children: JaMia Dozier, Jerime Louis Johnson and Tammy Johnson; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will take place at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 338 East 17th Street, Covington, KY 41014 on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (noon).
