Dennie Michael Skaggs, 74, of Hebron, KY, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. He was an F-4 Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after twenty years of active duty. He spent almost fifteen years as a First Officer with USAIR, and worked as a Real Estate Appraiser after his retirement. He was also an active member of the American Legion Moon Brothers Post # 275. Dennie was preceded in death by his son: Todd Michael Skaggs; parents: Dennie and Ella Mae Skaggs and brother: Steven A. Skaggs. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 and a half years: Evelyn Skaggs; daughter: Stephanie (Bryan) Meade and their sons: Hunter and Nathan; brother: Joe (Carla) Skaggs and their children: Peggy (Tom) McNair and Andy (Megan) Skaggs; late brother: Steven's children Robin Meyers, Heather Skaggs and Steven Skaggs and sister: Margaret (Fred) Richter and their children: Sarah (Jarrod) Martin, Tom (Jackie) Richter and Susan (Mitchell) Bilbro. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. until the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. at Highland Cemetery Chapel, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Interment and an Honor Guard service will follow. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
