Diana Lynn Wood, 63, of Covington, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was a retired telephone operator with Cincinnati Bell. Diana worked in the post office at the military base in Denver, Colorado and being a military wife and mother enabled her to travel and enjoy many different parts of the world. She was known for her cooking, hospitality and friendly smile. Diana was preceded in death by her parents: Leon and Alice Wood; sister: Patricia A. Duesing and brother-in-law: Leonard Duesing. She is survived by her sons: Jeremy (Melissa) LaVelle and Jonathan LaVelle and brother: William (Joan) Wood. Diana leaves behind many close friends from around the world. A private blessing will take place at Mother of God Cemetery Chapel, 3125 Madison Avenue, Ft. Wright, KY 41015. Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Hope Center Children's Program, 3400 Elizabeth Street, Denver, Colorado 80205. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia, KY is serving the family.
