Dick Secrist, 79, of Florence, KY, formerly of Latonia, KY, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Dick was a member of Holy Cross Church, Covington Moose Lodge #1469 and Covington Turners. Dick was a Marine Corps veteran and he retired from The Kroger Company. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert Secrist and Cecilia Jaeger Secrist. Dick is survived by his Wife: Nancy Secrist; Sons: Joe Secrist of Independence, KY and Tom (Linda Behymer) Secrist of Burlington, KY; Daughter: Linda Secrist of Magnolia, TX; Brother: Bob Secrist of Newport, KY and 5 Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 4:00 PM until time of a Memorial Blessing at 5:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY. We were so sorry to hear about Dick’s passing. So very sorry for your loss. He was loved by so many people. I (Donna) will think of him every time I hear my ole Kentucky home. We had so many laughs when the guys played softball and our trips to Louisville were epic. Dick you will be forever in our hearts
I have never met anyone who enjoyed life more than Dick. The Koenig’s, Tully’s and Secrist’s had more fun together than anyone can imagine. Many stories….many that should be kept between the 6 of us. Nancy, Linda, Joe and Tommy….you are in my thoughts and prayers.
